XIC FTV (96-97) Alumnus - Sandhir Flora (now a corporate film maker) won the award in the Gold Category for BEST SCREENPLAY for his one hour fiction film KYA MAIN QAAFIR HOON? (Am I a Non believer?) at the IDPA Award 2009 on 27 Oct `09. The award was presented by Jahnu Barua, an accalaimed filmmaker. KYA MAIN QAAFIR HOON? is written and directed by Sandhir Flora and produced by Mandhir Flora. It is a film which has a backdrop of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks.
