Sunzu Bachaspatimayum (FT 92) receives awards

XIC Congratulates Sunzu Bachaspatimayun - Alumni FT `92 who walked away with two awards at the 56th National Film Awards for the year 2008, Directorate of Film Festivals, Government of India, on 19th March, 2010.

The Swarna Kamal (Golden Lotus) was conferred on Sunzu for directing the Best Non-Fiction film, 'AFSPA 1958’, it carried a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh.

Sunzu also Produced and Directed 'SHINGNABA' which won the Best Exploration/ Adventure Film Award and was conferred the Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus) and a citation.

The President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil presented the 56th National Film Awards for 2008 at a glittering function at the Vigyan Bhavan.

In another notable achievement, Alumni FT`93 - Bobby Wahengbam's 'Roshni,' was selected in the competition section, at the 11th Mumbai International Film Festival, 2010. Our Congratulation to him too!
