We regret to announce the sad
demise of our Alumnus Ranjana Kacker (JR '79),
who passed away in Delhi on Tuesday, 12 May
2009, after a brief illness.
Kacker (58) was a senior
journalist, working for the Hindi daily ' Milap'
for the past 15 years. Earlier, she worked for
various popular magazines and newspapers like
Maya, Probe India, Gentleman Group and wrote for
Hindustan Daily and Punjab Kesri among others.
She has been actively reporting on Andhra
Pradesh developments in the capital for over two
decades besides writing on national politics.
She is survived by her
husband Sunil Brij Kacker, two sons and a
daughter. Ranjana was cremated at Lodi Road
crematorium.
